Fellowship Concerning the Urgent Need of the Vital Groups Message 12 is on the one accord, prayer, and the release of the spirit for blending. In these days we are burdened for the blending of the saints in the vital groups, but how can we be blended to have the real one accord? Our spirit should be strong to direct our soul, even to govern our entire being. Our being blended will surely produce a one accord in our spirit under the direction of the Spirit. Today we need to be blended together by much and thorough prayer, not merely with the exercise of our spirit but also the release of our spirit. When our spirit is released, we can be blended together in this released spirit. We should pray short prayers, simply telling the Lord what we want Him to do for us. From Acts 2:42 we see that we need to continue steadfastly in prayer and in Ephesians 6:18 we see that we need to pray at every time in spirit and watch unto this in all perseverance.
Message 13 is on the prayer by exercising our spirit for the release of the Holy Spirit. Now is the time for us to learn to drop the old way and the old things and to release our spirit. In this message, we are all encouraged to attend the prayer meeting of the church. The release of the Spirit leads us to the outpouring of the Spirit. The outpouring of the Spirit of power as the power from on high and as the dynamic impact is for preaching the gospel and ministering Christ to others. The inward filling of the indwelling spirit is bridged to the outward filling of the Spirit of power by our prayer. The key to make us living is for us to pray, and to pray is mainly to exercise our spirit.
