Gospel Meeting and Gospel Picnic
The Church will host an English-speaking gospel in-reaping meeting at 1855 W. Ball Road on Saturday, October 4, 2014, at 7:00 PM. Child care will be provided, but dinner will not be provided. Translation in Chinese, Korean, and Spanish is available. A gospel picnic will be held on October 11 at 3:30 PM at Chaparral Park, 1770 W. Broadway, Anaheim.
Children’s Work Perfecting Conference
There will be a children’s work perfecting conference on Saturday, October 4 from 9 AM-3 PM at the church in Diamond Bar meeting hall (1200 S. Brea Canyon Road). To register visit www.scyp.com and click on “event registration.”
Prophesying Meeting Fellowship
There will be a meeting on Saturday, October 4, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM for all brothers concerning the prophesying meetings of the church. The meeting will be held at 1855 W. Ball Rd. Brother Ed Marks will be speaking.
Young People’s Conferences
Junior High Conferences 10/24-10/26: Brothers’ conference at the meeting hall of the church in Diamond Bar, sisters’ conference at the meeting hall of the church in Irvine. Registration deadline: Lord’s Day, October 12.
High School Conferences 10/31-11/2: Brothers’ conference at the meeting hall of the church in Irvine, sisters’ conference at the district 3 of the church in Anaheim. Registration deadline: Lord’s Day, October 19.
International Thanksgiving Conference
The International Thanksgiving Conference will be held in San Antonio, Texas from 11/27-11/30 at the San Antonio Marriot Rivercenter. For more information, please see the LSM website or pick up an information sheet from the table.
Radio Broadcasts
KKLA 99.5 FM (www.kkla.com) now broadcasts a live call-in program from 9 to 10 pm each Lord’s Day centered around excerpts from Witness Lee’s Life-study messages. This is in addition to the 11:00 am Monday through Friday broadcast of the Life-study of the Bible with Witness Lee on KBRT 740 AM. We encourage the saints to listen and even to call in with questions that are relevant to the program content. Currently, the fellowship is in the Gospel of John. Please pray for the spreading the truth and for the adequate finances to continue these endeavors.
Southern California Blending Conference
There will be a one-day blending conference for the churches in Southern California on November 15, 2014. The time of the conference is from 4:00 PM to 8:45 PM and will be held at LSM campus.
